Here's how to get set up.
Step 1: Choose a Provider
We support the following CMPs:
Cookiebot — our recommended option, easiest to set up
OneTrust
Osano
CookieYes
Choose whichever you already use, or pick Cookiebot if you're starting fresh.
Step 2: Create Your Account and Configure Your Banner
Sign up with your chosen provider and configure your consent banner in their dashboard. This part happens entirely on the provider's site, not in Quipli.
Step 3: Add Your CMP to Quipli
Once your banner is configured, you'll add your provider and CMP ID directly in your Quipli settings:
Go to General Settings > Settings > SEO.
Find the Consent Management Platform section.
Under CMP Provider, use the dropdown to select your provider (Osano, OneTrust, Cookiebot, or CookieYes).
Paste your CMP ID into the CMP ID field.
That's it — Quipli will build and load your provider's snippet for you.
Finding Your CMP ID for Cookiebot (example)
Log in to your Cookiebot dashboard and go to Manual Implementation.
Under Embed Cookiebot Script, you'll see a script tag. Within it is a
data-cbidvalue — this is your CMP ID.Copy just the
data-cbidvalue (not the whole script) and paste it into the CMP ID field in Quipli.
Here's what the script looks like:
<script id="Cookiebot" src="https://consent.cookiebot.com/uc.js" data-cbid="YOUR-CBID-HERE" data-blockingmode="auto" type="text/javascript"></script>
Common Questions
Which provider should I use if I don't already have one? We recommend Cookiebot — it has the simplest setup process of the four supported providers.
Do I need to configure my consent banner before adding my ID to Quipli? Yes. Your account and banner need to be fully set up in your CMP dashboard first, since the ID is generated as part of that setup.
What if I'm using a different CMP than the ones listed? Currently we only support Cookiebot, OneTrust, Osano, and CookieYes. Reach out to your account manager if you're using a different provider.
