Overview
The Quipli + Hapn integration allows customers to connect Hapn GPS trackers to individual equipment units in Quipli, enabling live location tracking directly within the Quipli admin console.
Onboarding consists of two main phases:
Account Linking – Connecting a Hapn account to Quipli
Unit Setup – Assigning Hapn trackers (Tracker ID / IMEI) to equipment units in Quipli
Prerequisites
Before starting setup, the following must be true:
The customer must already be a Hapn customer
The user performing the initial setup must:
Be a Quipli admin user, and
Have a Hapn Account Owner login. Non owner account can log in, but will not trigger the credential exchange needed to complete setup.
Not a Hapn customer yet?
Customers who are interested in becoming a Hapn customer or learning more about Hapn should contact:

Trackers are connected to equipment units
Live tracking data will now appear within Quipli
Video Walk Through of Setup:
Using the Hapn Integration in Quipli
Once the Hapn integration is connected in your Quipli account, you’ll be able to view live asset locations and (if supported) automatically pull hour meter readings from tracked equipment.
This guide walks through the key features available after setup.
Before You Start: Enable Required Settings
After the integration is installed, make sure the correct settings are turned on.
Go to Settings
Select General Settings
Open Options
Find the Hapn Integration / Live Tracking section
Enable the following settings:
Live Tracking Panel and Order Page
Set Live Tracking Panel and Order Page = Yes
This allows live tracking information to appear on order pages.
Hour Tracking
Set Hour Tracking = Yes
This enables Quipli to pull hour meter readings from supported Hapn trackers.
Live Tracking Features
Viewing Live Asset Locations (Live Map)
Quipli includes a Live Tracking Map where you can view tracked assets in real time.
To access it:
Go to Inventory
Open the Live Tracking section
On this page, you will see a map displaying all assets currently connected to Happen.
What You Can Do From the Live Map
When you click on an asset, you can view:
Current location on the map
Asset details (expandable)
Battery status (if available)
Movement status (if available)
You also have the option to:
Get directions
Copy the location
Create a live link
Troubleshoot the tracker
You can also click Open Within Hapn to open the asset directly inside the Hapn platform.
Additional Options
From the Live Tracking page, you can also:
Search for a specific asset
Sort by status
Sort by battery level
View Places (if your Hapn account uses Places)
Live Tracking on Orders
When an order includes a unit that has a Hapn tracker assigned, Quipli will show a Live Tracking section on the View Order page once the order is on rent.
What You’ll See on the Order
On the View Order page, Quipli will list:
The tracked product(s)
The specific unit(s) tied to the order
Clicking a unit will show:
Last known location
Time of last location ping
Battery level (if available)
Status indicators (example: moving/not moving)
You can also select:
View Unit in Live Tracking Map (opens the asset in a new tab)
What Happens When an Order is Returned
Live tracking continues updating while the unit is on rent.
Once the item is marked Returned to Inventory, the unit becomes inactive on the order and will stop updating in real time.
However, you can still view the asset in the Live Tracking Map if needed.
Hour Meter Tracking (If Supported by the Tracker)
If your Hapn tracker supports hour meter readings, Quipli can automatically pull those readings at key points in your workflow.
This allows you to track equipment usage without manually entering hours.
Where Hour Readings Are Pulled in Quipli
Checkout & Check In Inspections
If your inspection checklist is configured to pull machine hours, Quipli will automatically import the hour meter value from the tracker when the inspection begins.
You will see:
A note confirming the reading is being pulled
The hour meter field auto-filled
The last stored hour value shown for reference
On Rent Step
When you place an order On Rent, Quipli will also pull the hour meter reading automatically at that step.
Return to Inventory
When returning the equipment to inventory (either as a combined Off Rent + Return step, or as a separate step), Quipli pulls the hour meter reading again.
Internal Work Orders
If you create an Internal Work Order for a tracked asset:
Quipli pulls the hour meter reading when the work order starts
Quipli pulls the hour meter reading again when the work order is completed
