Quipli Release Notes
July 27, 2026
✨ New Features
Order Type Column & Cycle Billing Filter:
The Orders table now includes an Order Type column right next to the Order Number, so you can tell at a glance whether an order is a Rental or a Sale.
Cycle billed orders display a refresh icon next to the Rental badge, making recurring billing orders easy to spot without opening them — the same indicator is also available on mobile.
The Orders filters now use clearer "Rental" and "Sale" labels, and a new Cycle Billing filter lets you narrow the list down to cycle billed or non-cycle billed orders, combinable with your other filters.
New Expenses Tab & Redesigned Payment Methods Settings:
Added an Expenses tab to Payment Methods settings for managing the payment methods used on Purchase Orders, separate from your customer payment methods.
Create and edit payment methods with a name and description, and see all of them listed in one place.
The customer Methods tab got the same refresh: built-in payment methods (Bank Transfer, Cash, Check, Credit, Credit/Debit Card, On Account, Other, Unapplied Payment) now live in a clear Default section with simple on/off toggles, while your custom payment methods have their own section with Add, edit, and delete.

🛠️ Improvements
Collectibles View Refinements:
Rows per page now updates the table correctly and remembers your setting when you navigate away and back.
The "Show more" button on a customer's invoice list now works as expected.
Fixed an issue where large dollar amounts in the aging summary boxes could overflow their borders.
Replaced the non-standard "0-30" aging bucket with the standard "1-30" bucket.
Long customer names no longer get cut off, so the "on account" badge always stays visible.
Renamed the "Payment Status" column to "Invoice Status" in the expanded invoice view for clarity.
Create Purchase Orders from Work Orders with No Parts:
You can now create a Purchase Order directly from a Work Order even if no parts have been added to it yet to support the flow of ordering parts that are out of stock on an already started work order.
Custom Parts & Services Default to Taxable:
Custom parts and services added to a Work Order now default to "Taxable," matching the behavior on regular orders.
Clearer Low-Stock Messaging When Adding Parts:
When a part can't be added to a Work Order due to insufficient stock, the error message now tells you exactly how many units are available at that location instead of a generic error.
Customer Profile Page Header:
The customer profile page now displays the customer's name in the header instead of the generic "User Setup" label.
Admin User Details Page Header:
The Admin User Details page now displays the admin user's name in the header instead of the generic label.
More Obvious Clickable Fields:
Editable fields across order pages and the dispatch page (like rates, coupons, PO numbers, and dates) are now clearly marked as clickable with prompts like "Add rate" and "Add coupon," and clickable dates are now fully blue.
🐞 Bug Fixes
Fixed Expired Customer Pricing Still Being Applied:
Resolved an issue where a customer's specific pricing could still be applied to new orders dated after that rate's expiration, instead of falling back to the standard rate.
Fixed Partially Received Purchase Orders Not Syncing to QBO:
Resolved an issue where a Purchase Order that was partially received got stuck in Draft status, so clicking "Sync to QBO" showed success but nothing actually synced.
Fixed Invoices Stuck in Draft Status:
Resolved two additional scenarios where invoices could get stuck in Draft instead of moving to Payable — when rental items were removed from a mixed order after approval, and when the remaining non-returned items were removed from a partially returned order.
Improved Security Deposit Reliability:
Resolved an issue that could cause a security deposit extension to be missed if the job ran at the same time on multiple servers.
Fixed Order Crash After Merging On-Account Customers:
Resolved an issue where viewing an order could crash after an on-account customer was merged into another customer record.
Fixed Tax Code Dropdown Getting Cut Off:
The Tax Code dropdown on Create Order, Quote, Missed Rental, Credit Memo, and Work Order pages now opens upward when needed, so it's no longer cut off near the bottom of the screen.
Fixed Inconsistent Tax Rounding on Invoices:
Resolved an issue where tax amounts landing exactly on a half-cent could round differently between when an invoice was originally generated and when it was later regenerated, causing $0.01 discrepancies on the invoice total.
