Quipli Release Notes

September 21, 2026

✨ New Features

  • Inventory Transfers:

    • A new dedicated Transfers area lets multi-location businesses move inventory between locations with a structured, auditable workflow — no more manual adjustments, dummy orders, or spreadsheets to track equipment moving between yards.

    • Create a transfer, choose an origin and destination, and add the rental, sale, or parts inventory you're moving. Incoming inventory is visible at the destination right away, but can't be booked, sold, or used on a work order until you've received it and marked the transfer complete — so nothing gets committed before it's physically arrived.

  • New Reporting Suite Rolling Out to All Partners:

    • We're rolling out our refreshed reporting suite to the rest of our partners over the next couple of weeks. The suite includes: Revenue Report, Renter's Report, Credit Utilization Report, Orders Report (previously the Transaction Report), Products Report, Aging Accounts Receivable Report, Payments Report, and Rental Item Return Report.

    • Three additions stand out this round:

      • Rate of Change Report: A new standalone report showing how your rental revenue is trending over time — see your monthly revenue alongside 1-month, 3-month, and 12-month year-over-year growth rates, as both a data table and a chart.

      • Work Orders Report: A summary of work orders, their statuses over time, and insights into problematic equipment.

      • Invoices Report: A summary and detailed overview of your invoices.

    • Visit our Help Center to learn more about each report.

🛠️ Improvements

  • Reporting Suite Improvements:

    • New filters & fields:

      • Revenue Report: added a Revenue Type filter (Rental vs. Sale) and line-item Quantity.

      • Orders Report: added cancellation reason & notes, and Cycle Billed identification/filtering.

      • Products Report: added Unit Number and Depreciated Value.

      • Renters Report: added an On Account filter.

      • Rental Item Return Report: added a Location filter and extended the lookback window (previously showed only yesterday).

    • Order, work order, and payment timestamps now display in local time instead of raw UTC, so activity always shows on the calendar day it actually happened.

    • A big thank you to the partners who tested this suite early and shared their feedback — it's made these reports better for everyone.

  • Orders Now Require Cancellation Before Deletion:

    • The Delete option on an order is now only available once that order has been cancelled, ensuring cancellation's cleanup steps always run first and related records stay consistent.

🐞 Bug Fixes

  • Reporting Suite Bug Fixes:

    • Resolved an issue where rental end dates displayed incorrectly on the Orders and Invoice reports.

    • Resolved an issue causing duplicate unit rows to appear on the Products report.

    • Resolved an issue where the "Product is Currently Active" filter failed to exclude sold or inactive products.

    • Resolved an issue where the Rental Item Return report included items that were merely past their scheduled end date, rather than only items that had actually been returned.

  • Fixed Off Rent Being Blocked on One-Way Delivery Orders:

    • Resolved an issue where orders with one-way delivery selected (delivery out, no pickup) couldn't be marked Off Rent, since the system incorrectly required a pickup dispatch to be completed first.

  • Fixed Invoice Status Filter to Allow Multi-Select:

    • Resolved an issue where the Invoice Status filter on the “By Invoice” Collectibles view only allowed a single selection. It now supports multi-select, consistent with the legacy version.

  • Fixed Missing Address Filter on Collectibles:

    • Resolved an issue where the Address filter didn't appear on the “By Invoice” Collectibles view after selecting a customer. It now appears directly below Customer and lists that customer's addresses.

  • Fixed Payout Reconciliation Report Showing Unknown Location:

    • Resolved an issue where unapplied payments on the Payout Reconciliation Report always showed under "Unknown" location, even when the payment itself had a location on it. Unapplied payments now correctly show the payment's own location.
