✨ New Features
🔧 New Create Work Order experience
We've replaced the Create Work Order modal with a dedicated full-page experience, designed to match the look and feel of the redesigned Work Order view that shipped last month. Same workflow, more room to work, with several behavior improvements baked in:
Customer-owned equipment support including a new Year field and an improved Add Customer Equipment dialog
Credit limit enforcement on customer work orders — the existing Credit Limit Exceeded warning now fires consistently, and the bypass permission works the way it does on rental orders
Smarter location handling for unit assignment, matching how rental orders behave (multi-location vs. single-location based on your setting)
Live order summary that updates as you add parts, services, and custom line items — including correct tax handling for internal vs. customer work orders
Mobile-optimized layout
💰 Location and Product Fees: apply to Rentals, Sales, or both
Location and Product Fees (HET, environmental, and other custom fees) can now be configured to apply specifically to Rentals, Sales, or both. Previously, fees applied broadly to whatever a customer was charged for, which forced workarounds when a fee was only legally or operationally relevant to one side of the business.
A few examples of what this unlocks:
An environmental fee that should apply only to rentals, not equipment sales
A heavy equipment tax that applies only to qualifying rental categories
🚚 Dispatch: Delivery Status filter
Dispatchers can now filter the Dispatch page by Delivery Status to hide completed deliveries and focus only on what still needs action. A small change, but a meaningful one if you run dispatch through Quipli — less noise, faster eyes-on-screen.
No more phantom dispatch entries for sale items — Sale items added to an order during the return or off-rent flow were creating dispatch entries as if they needed delivery. They no longer do — dispatch stays focused on actual rental deliveries and pickups.
🔄 Rouse integration: cleaner exports
Two fixes for customers who use the Rouse benchmarking integration:
EQP equipment file no longer includes soft-deleted or inactive units, which was causing duplicate UnitNumber values and inflated fleet sizes in Rouse reporting
IDF transaction file now correctly includes historical non-cycle-bill and cycle-bill transactions that were missing after the recent cycle billing revenue change. Affected customers have been backfilled
🔍 SEO: cleaner storefront backlinks
Your e-commerce storefront includes a "Powered by Quipli" footer link. That link was passing through a 301 redirect, which weakens the SEO signal flowing back to your site through the Quipli network. The link now points directly, so the full link equity is preserved — a small but meaningful improvement for your search rankings over time.
🐛 Notable fixes worth knowing about
A few platform-level fixes from this cycle that may affect how you work day-to-day:
Hard-down unit protection — orders containing a unit with an in-progress work order can no longer be put on-rent past the WO end date
Product Units menu — clicking near (but not directly on) an action in the Product Units edit menu now registers correctly. Full-row hit targets, fewer missed clicks
Approve Quote from Orders list — fixed a bug where clicking "Approve Quote" from the Orders list or dashboard would flash a modal and leave a blank screen. The approval modal now opens reliably
Pagination — the Previous button is now correctly disabled on page 1 across Orders, Customers, and Credit Memos lists, and manual URL navigation to invalid page numbers no longer breaks the page
HAPN GPS sync — devices were not getting refreshed when an unrecognized webhook event came in, which could leave HAPN data out of date for newly added trackers. Devices now refresh reliably regardless of webhook content
Damage Waiver on Quotes — when Damage Waiver is set to Optional and a renter declines on a quote, the fee is now correctly removed after they sign and submit, on both the renter and admin sides
